Burgundy Seahorse Pendant by carmendee Burgundy Seahorse Pendant by carmendee
absolutely adore the life the sea has to offer. since a young age I’ve studied encyclopedias and watched the fascinating deep sea and underwater adventure programs. sea horses have a special magical feel to them that I’ve always been enchanted with. I’m not surprised to have it come out in my art.

this is a stunning hand sculpted burgundy sea horse, using new techniques to create the coral effect of the tail and fins, and though they look fragile, they are sturdy enough for daily wear. the polymer clay has a flexibility that ensures the safety of the tiny details.

this peace is enhanced with inlay-ed swarovski crystals.
the eyes have there own life, bringing more magic to the piece.

the pendant is a comfortable size measuring 2 inch height and 2 inch length with 1/2 inch thickness.
comes with a soft black suede necklace and a silver plate bail.

avalible for a short time on etsy [link]?

I love all the little burgundy beads/bubbles down its back...and I always love the coral-like fin! It does look more detailed than before, and it amazes me that it's still quite sturdy...

thank you very much. I am very pleased with how the photos turned out. some times its hard to show how awesome the piece really is with just a photo.
